Ronin Zero

Ronin Zero was a group project for which I was the main programmer. The idea behind this game was a combination of Titanfall and Samurai Jack. A freerunning hack and slasher if you will.

Creating the freerunning system was difficult to be sure. There were many states to work between and an annoying bug that would allow the player to double-jump indefinitely, or not at all. It wasn’t the groundcheck trust me.

My teammates were talented to be sure. Without their skill I wouldn’t have delivered a game that look great! Coordination and ensuring assets were delivered on time was crucial.

Overall I’m proud of the small product we delivered. It represents a lot of work from our team!

Here’s one level from Ronin Zero that we used extensively for testing. Take a look!
